LJEA's 50th Anniversary Boats and Brews Bash

Join LJEA as we celebrate our 50th year as a non profit protecting the Lake James watershed! Saturday, July 29th, we will host a boat parade on Lake James at the Lake James State Park beach (Paddy's Creek) followed by a birthday celebration at Fonta Flora-Whippoorwill Farm.

Boat Parade (10 AM Boats line up, 10:30 AM Parade begins)- The theme of the parade is Fauna and Flora of the Lake James Watershed, so decorate your boat accordingly! Prizes will be awarded to the top three best decorated boats and the best name (on theme). Entry fee is $50 for motorized boats and $25 for non-motorized boats (kayaks, canoes, SUPs, etc).

Birthday Party (12-2 PM)- Join us at Whippoorwill for celebratory refreshments, birthday cake, toasts, and prize awards. Fonta Flora will be brewing a special birthday beer for us, Lake James Blue, and $1 from every pint sold will go to LJEA!
