On Monday 14 September, LJEA's Executive Director asked the McDowell County Board of Commissioners to help protect 32,000 of the Lake James Watershed. Over 29,000 of those acres are within McDowell County and are vital to clean water and to our hunters, fishers, hikers, and everyone who wants to protect the remnants of our relatively pristine National Forest.
